Troubleshooting Common Issues

Having trouble? Here are solutions to the most common printing problems.

This usually means your scaling is set incorrectly. In your print dialog, make sure to select "Actual Size" or "100%" instead of "Fit to Page". The page should print at exactly the size it was designed for.
Check your print quality settings - it should be set to "Best", "High", or "Fine". Also ensure you're using the original PDF file, not a compressed or low-resolution version. If printing from a phone, try printing from a computer instead.
Use heavier paper - 28-32 lb (105-120 gsm) weight paper will prevent bleed-through. You can find this at any office supply store. It's worth the small extra cost for a professional result.
This is normal due to differences between screen and print colors. If colors are too dark, check your printer's color settings and ensure you're not in "draft" mode. For best results, use a color calibrated printer.
Make sure to select "Flip on Long Edge" (not short edge) in your duplex settings. If your printer doesn't support automatic duplex, print odd pages first, then flip the stack and print even pages.
Try downloading the file again using a different browser. Make sure you have a PDF reader installed (Adobe Reader is free). If you're on mobile, save the file to your device first, then open it.
